Gregg Policari founded Back In Motion Massage Therapy in the fall of 2004. He is Nationally Certified and a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in the state of North Carolina. Gregg is a committee chair for the North Carolina Chapter of the AMTA(American Massage Therapy Association). As a young boy Gregg discovered the healing power of touch. He tells wonderful stories of his mother "Charlotte" comming home from one of her 3 jobs asking Gregg to rub her aeking back, scratch her head, and rub her back and of being paid a dollar to do the massage. “At that time it was enough to save for any rainny day he might want an ice pop after school.” He took his first massage course in 2003 and continued to learn alternative healing modalities while working in the corporate environment. His resume includes International Corporations where he’s held positions as a Operations Manager, Master Computer Technician and International Sales Manager. After 10 years in corporate America Gregg’s heart guided him back to what he’s always known; assisting in the healing process is his life’s work. In July of 2003 he graduated from American Institute of Massage Therapy in West Palm Beach, Florida. With the entrepreneurial skills that came naturally as a young boy he has created one of the busiest massage centers in Wilmington. Gregg is trained in Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Prenatal/Pregnancy massage and Hot Stone Massage. He continues to take continuing education courses to offer his clients the cutting edge in therapeutic bodywork. Working with chiropractors Gregg has been able to greatly develop his skills as a deep tissue massage therapist to bring relaxation, pain relief, and wellness to the patients. Born in New York and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Gregg moved to North Carolina in 2004. He wanted to start a new life helping people and raising a family in a safe and warm hearted community.
Allison Humphreys, is a NC State Licensed Massage Therapist who has been providing massage therapy to Back In Motion clients since 2007 in the Wilmington clinic of Back In Motion Chiropractic aka BIM. Aside from professional and elite athletes, she provides treatment for victims of accidents, stressed office workers, weekend athletes, physicians, students, retirees, expectant mothers and massage therapists. She graduated from Miller Motte College in 2007 and as a licensed and nationally certified therapist in North Carolina, Allison is always learning new techniques to enhance her ability to do her best for you. Her approach is gentle but firm, with a therapeutic touch. She tailors her massage to every individual client. By taking the time to listen with eyes, ears, and hands she creates custom treatments for her clients. She uses both her client goals and intuitive approach to implement effective treatments. Ali offers private massage sessions as well as onsite massage events for corporate and campus venues. Various combinations of table and/or chair are available for your specific event requirements. |
